Desktop Publishing :: Monitor Calibration Target for Prepress
I'm using Spyder2 Pro colorimeter on DELL 2007WFP (S-IPS panel) monitor and was trying to pinpoint the best calibration target for my needs. Currently I work on various magazines and ATM I use 6500K 2.2 gamma, black/white point 0.20-100cd/m2. The software itself suggests 5000K 2.2 with 85-100cd/m2 for Prepress work while 6500K 2.2 and 120cd/m2 for Photo editing. So basically my question is: Whats the best cal target for page layout / photo editing intended for conventional printing? BTW any suggestions on what generic ICM profile should I use over here in Europe? - Read More at This Link..
